Insignia

Special insignia is given to each Century of service:

An ancestor who taught in the 17th Century is represented by a Quill

An ancestor who taught in the 18th Century is represented by a Bell

An ancestor who taught in the 19th Century is represented by a Lamp of Knowledge

An ancestor who taught in the 20th Century is represented by an Open Book

An ancestor who taught in the 21st Century is represented by a Computer

Ancestor bars will be available for each of the above categories.

THE GOLDEN APPLE

Any Member having an ancestor in four consecutive centuries/categories achieves Golden Apple status and is authorized to wear the Golden Apple insignia. Multiple Golden Apples may be awarded.

17th Century
18th Century
19th Century
20th Century
21st Century
Officer Bar (engraved with office held and years served)
Perfect Attendance
Founder Member Bar/Charter Member Bar OR
Finishing Bar or Golden Apple

The last pin of the series will be a Founder/Charter bar, finishing bar or a “Golden Apple”.
Should a member not be Founder or Charter, he/she will use the finishing bar to anchor the insignia.
